Senitria Goodman is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Trillium Health Resources, a $2 billion dollar Medicaid Managed Care Organization accredited by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. Ms. Goodman oversees the Legal, Compliance, Appeals and Vendor Management departments. She also serves as a member of Trillium’s Executive Team, providing strategic legal, compliance and business advice for the organization. Prior to joining Trillium, Ms. Goodman served as the Senior Associate General Counsel for Cardinal Innovations Healthcare, the country's largest specialty health plan, which served over 720,000 individuals with complex needs. She also managed her own general practice in Charlotte, North Carolina focusing on civil litigation, criminal defense and family law matters, and previously worked in-house for a multi-million dollar customer acquisitions company. Ms. Goodman began her career with a mid-size corporate law firm in Tennessee where she represented hospital systems, physician practice groups and universities. She earned her law degree from the Appalachian School of Law in Virginia, where she was named the “Outstanding Woman in Law,” an award sponsored by the National Association of Women Lawyers. Ms. Goodman is licensed in North Carolina and Tennessee and a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. She is passionate about creating innovative legal and compliance strategies that drive quality patient outcomes for specialty and underserved populations.
