JUNE MEETUP

We had a fantastic time at our June meetup with 86 people in attendance! Due to the intense heat, we had to change our plans from an outdoor cookout to an indoor gathering. Several activities were happening simultaneously; we had resource tables and games in the gym, resources in the cafe, shopping in the caregiver's store, and our CEO Ventra White-Dean had an interview with Nick Sturdivant from WCNC New. Despite the changes and all the activities, we managed to make everything work smoothly. Here is the link to watch/read the interview. WCNC Story with Frankie Mae Foundation

The caregivers were enthusiastic about engaging with the resource tables from Archwell, PACE, Oak Street Health, Humana and Centralina. They were eager to ask questions and gather information about the services and support available to them. It was evident that they were keen to learn more about how these organizations could benefit their loved ones and improve their caregiving experience. The caregivers were grateful for the opportunity to connect with these resources and gain valuable knowledge that could positively impact their caregiving journey.
