Beth Hardin is a fellow in Harvard's Advanced Leadership Initiative. She served for nearly twenty-five years in the University of North Carolina System, as chief financial and administrative officer of UNC Charlotte and executive in residence at UNC Greensboro. She previously worked for the University of Wyoming, Harvard University, Sara Lee Corporation, Booz Allen Hamilton, and NCNB. She was the primary caregiver for her mother, Ann, through her dementia journey. She is an active member of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church.
